This is Buttercups in Otley. We were a little nervous about going in half term but we arrived when it opened at 9:30 and it was never overly busy.
I was impressed with this place. It is a soft play cafe and the layout means you can sit and have a hot drink whilst your little ones can play in view. It’s cheap and cheerful and as we left my friend said that was a great place, it was stress free and kept everyone happy. That’s what we all look for right?
There’s three areas in the cafe. The main room with small kids soft play, slide and ball pool. There’s a separate area with a three tier climbing frame. This is a well designed to suit even smaller kids, my little one was able to fully get round this himself and he’s under 2. Just off the main room was a role play room full of fancy dress, a shop, police station, kitchen and cars. We were there with 4 kids between 22 months and 3 and they quite happily ran between each room for a good 2 hours.
We stayed for lunch, they had a menu with plenty of choice and it was very reasonably priced.
They also do some classes, like PAYG Boogie Babes Harrogate, which is how we found out about this place.
If you are looking for somewhere for the kids to play with nice food and drink all for a reasonable price this is a great option. 20 minutes from Harrogate and 10 minutes from Leeds, it’s perfectly positioned for a place to meet.
