We spent NYE in a cave, a deep dark cave, on a bear hunt 🐻 (in the words of my toddler) We didn’t have any plans so decided to head to Stump Cross Caverns for the afternoon.
I’d seen it recommended a few times and although it wasn’t somewhere I’d previously thought to take a toddler and a baby we had a great time.
30 minutes drive out of Harrogate near Pateley Bridge, Stump Cross Caverns has;
🧚🏻♂️ The caverns complete with a fairy quiz trail and quiz
🍽 A great cafe with small toy area
✨An indoor sandpit to dig for treasure
We also went to their new cinema where they were showing The Greatest Showman. We paid for the cavern and cinema which was £11 per adult and also included a hot chocolate. Kids under 4 go free and they get a gift for completing the quiz and a hot chocolate during the film.
Their plan is to show a family film on Saturday mornings plus more in school holidays but check out their Facebook and website for more details.
We had such a lovely time and I look forward to going back in the summer when we can enjoy their outdoor space
